Historic Restoration & New Windows

The project involved 20 windows and the design/ fabrication of one new stained glass window to replace an existing window. All windows were fitted with new protective coverings using The Klear-Flo™ protective covering system utilizing a special perimeter frame. Protective coverings had 1/4 inch acrylic. Millwork was re-painted on all windows. 13 stained glass windows underwent complete restoration. This comprised removing the existing protective covering and the stained glass, installing a temporary transparency in its place, undergoing an entire program of historic restoration, re-installing the restored window. On some windows, new single glazed aluminum vents were installed. One window underwent repairs by straightening bulged sections and installing new steel structural support braces.
