Protective coverings were installed for twenty-seven windows utilizing this process: 1. removed existing protective covering, 2. re-cemented windows on the exterior surface, 3. re-painted millwork, and 4. installed Klear-Flo™ protective covering system utilizing a special perimeter frame and 1/4″ acrylic. Repairs comprised: 1. stabilizing cracked glass with epoxy (six windows), 2. stabilizing cracked glass via other methods (two windows), 3. reduced bulges in glass (three windows), 4. added new steel structural support braces (three windows), 5. bent glazing bars to follow the major lines of the framing, thus preserving the exterior appearance of the architecture (one window), 6. re-attached loose structural support brace (one window), 7. sealed ventilators shut (twelve windows), and 7. protective covering material was set into the existing ventilator frames in such a manner as to remain operational.
