Repair and Protective Coverings, On-site

Repairs comprised: reducing bugles (one window), stabilizing cracked glass (six windows), replacing non-painted broken glass (two windows), installing new steel structural support braces (one window), bending glazing bars to follow the major lines of the framing, thus preserving the exterior appearance of the architecture (one window), and sealing ventilators shut (two windows).

Protective coverings were installed on all ten windows. The process consisted of the following: 1. removed existing protective coverings, 2. windows re-cemented on the exterior surface, 3. millwork re-painted, and 4. Klear-Flo™ protective covering system installed utilizing a special perimeter frame and 1/4 ” glass.
