Repair and Protective Coverings, Onsite

Thirty-three windows received protective coverings. The process comprised: 1. removing existing protective coverings, 2. re-cementing the window on the exterior surface, 3. re-painting millwork, 4. installing the Klear-Flo™M protective covering system utilizing a special perimeter frame and 1/4″ acrylic. Repairs included: 1. reducing minor bulged sections (twelve windows), 2. installing a new steel structural support braces where needed (eleven windows), 3. positioning loose stained glass back into its lead channel (one window), 4. sealing ventilators shut where necessary (sixteen windows), 5. stabilizing cracked stained glass (one window), 6. replacing broken or cracked painted glass (two windows).
