Stained Glass Studio Consultant & Customer Experience
Willet Studios’ Studio Consultants are the trusted point of connection between our clients and our craft. These team members work directly with churches, institutions, architects, and building managers—helping them understand their stained glass, assess current conditions, and plan thoughtful next steps.
Connecting Craft & Clients
This role blends relationship-building and technical observation. Studio Consultants spend much of their time in the field, traveling throughout their assigned territory to meet clients face-to-face, document window conditions, and guide clients through the decision-making process with clarity and care.
Successful Studio Consultants are organized, self-driven, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people. They are comfortable balancing independence with collaboration, using technology and documentation to support a strong client experience and a healthy sales funnel.
This role is ideal for experienced sales professionals who enjoy travel, value long-term client relationships, and want to represent a company built on craftsmanship and trust.
Key responsibilities include:
- Traveling throughout an assigned territory on multi-day trips to meet clients in person
- Conducting on-site assessments of stained glass installations using detailed photography and documentation
- Building and managing a territory sales funnel while achieving monthly targets
- Establishing clear objectives and priorities for every client interaction
- Responding to new leads and scheduling inspection appointments
- Creating high-quality proposals that accurately reflect client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Taking inspection photos of windows, site access, problem areas, and specified repairs
- Creating clear building sketches and numbering windows in sequence
- Providing detailed notes from inspections and client conversations
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems to support marketing and funnel metrics
