Repair and Protective Coverings

Repairs included stabilizing all cracked glass (three windows) and adding glazing bars to follow the major lines of the framing, thus preserving the exterior appearance of the architecture (ten windows). All twenty-four windows received new protective coverings. The process was as follows: 1. existing protective coverings removed, 2. windows re-cemented on the exterior surface, 3. millwork re-painted and a finish coat of rust inhibiting paint applied, 4. protective covering material set into existing ventilator frame to remain operational where needed, 5. Klear-Flo™ protective covering system installed utilizing a special perimeter frame and 1/4″ acrylic.
